Margaritaville Murder Mystery
May 22nd, 2009

We arrived at the clubhouse and stepped into a scene straight from the Carribean ... Margaritaville - complete with palm trees, birds and Jimmy Buffet music playing in the background.  Our host, Coconut Joe welcomed us all to his fancy resort. The decorations were FABULOUS (great job Diane & Ken - and all your helpers) It  was a tropical paradise all the way down to the dessert... and yes, everyone was indeed "dressed to kill"!

As the night progressed, our characters developed, and LOTS of funny money changed hands... blackmail seemed to be a common thread throughout the night.  (especially with that darn bar maid!)  Then, right in front of the bar, Jack Daniels was killed... but WHO on earth would kill our dear, sweet bartender (after all, he was very generous with those delicious margaritas, at least from the viewpoint of Candy Cotton!)

This looked like a job for Sgt. Lord, our local police officer (or as we like to call him, rent-a-cop) It was not an easy job, but Sgt. Lord questioned everyone in attendance.  After a good 15 minutes, he had his answer... it was none other than....  Lifesavin' Sam, the Lifeguard!  Can anyone remember why Sam did such a heinous act?  I can't!  At any rate, he was handcuffed and arrested... it's anyone's guess if this was the first time.

After the fun was over, everyone voted for the best dressed guest - of course, the winner was Starr Bright, the washed up movie star played by Lolly, with Kylie Cocktail (the vicious vixen cocktail waitress!)a close runner up.  (great job on those dreadlocks ReRe!)  Only one person guessed who done it - Cerise Henry!

What a great night, thanks again Diane for all your hard work.
