2009 Commodore's Ball

The Annual Commodore’s Ball was a great big success thanks to our former AND newly elected Social Director, Mrs. Diane Kirby (rumor has it she's sleeping with the Commodore and that's how she is able to get so much done!) A special thanks to all of you  who helped her prepare for this special event. Diane really outdid herself with the classy decor, programs and excellent dinner selection catered by The Clubhouse Restaurant. 

Fran Klindt performed his usual outstanding job as master-of-ceremonies.  Greg Cardino provided dancing music and everyone had a great fun and fellowship with each other. 

What a wonderful celebration of the “change of watch” from the old (take that however you like!) to the new Board Members.   We had fifty nine people in attendance, and everyone came dressed to kill.  Boy we clean up good don't we??

Also, thanks to Diane's brother, Billy Thomas, we held a raffle for a pair of concert tickets to see Vince Gill at the Peabody Auditorium.  (Billy plays in the band)  Andy & ReRe Anderson were the lucky winners and even got to go back stage to meet Vince.  (see proof below) They all had a great time at the concert.  The raffle made $304 for the club - so it DOES pay to know somebody!
